Ovo što sam pročitao na par sajtova (prelistao više nego pročitao), većina negativno... Osim dragonragea

ma i ja sam njegov opis uzeo sa zrncem soli znam da je on i inače preblag,
te filmove pre-pozitivno opisuje.

Ma drži vodu to šta Dragonrage govori, odnosno piše, moj je dojam isto otprilike takav, al tribalo je to sve puno spektakularnije napravit, jer ljudi su već po traileru skužili da ih neće čekat ništa prenapeto i uzbudljivo, doslovno nema scene koju bi stavili.

Ovo što sam pročitao na par sajtova (prelistao više nego pročitao), većina negativno... Osim dragonragea

Pa nije sad neš posebno fim, ali zbilja nije ni zadnje govno kao što ga se očito opisuje. Možda mu jesam "spičio" malo previsoku ocjenu (jedna čista trojkica bi bila primjerenija, ali eto, za sada ostaje pri ovoj ocjeni). Nekome će možda biti malo predosadan, no ja sam se uspio uživiti u priču, unatoč tim nekim manama (filozofija, religija, Xzibit). Ono, film je ko prosječna X Files epizoda...samo malo predugačka. A tkom je volio Dosjee i prije...ovo bi mu mogl9o biti čist ok...ali ne i više od toga

Inače ne bih rekao da sam preblag...samo što se trudim u svakom filmu naći nešto što valja, šta je interesantno, zbog čega vrijedi pa to izdvojim. Primjerice ima hrpu ljudi koji će neki B film odjebati samo na temelju predrasuda...bilo prema žanru, bilo prema glumcu i neće se uopće truditi niti uvjeriti da li tu možda ima nešto dobro. Iako naravno...ako ipak prevladavaju one negativne strane...e ona jebiga...loš film je loš film.

e ja recimo uvijek tražim ono negativno u filmu i to volim isticati.
čak i ako mi se film svidi ipak moram primjetiti ako je imao i najmanju manu...

X-Files 2 Producer Responds to Films Flop

Frank Spotnitz who we interviewed before the release of X-Files 2 sat down with IFMagazine to defend and respond to the obvious panning and outright RAGE directed at the film X-Files 2 by fans of the first film and the tv series. The film which we thought would be along the same lines as the first film and the tv show in general ended up being a piece about the relationship between Mulder and Scully with a group of serial killers thrown in for good measure. Frank seems to think that we as fans should have given them more credit for being daring;

And I'm guessing a lot of the critical reaction is based on what they were expecting the movie to be, given its release date, rather than what the movie actually is. I guess I was a little surprised they didn't give us more credit for that, or for the many risks we took in this film. But no, we seemed amazingly in synch with the studio throughout the process.

He is right. We as fans were expecting an X-files movie. A movie that is steeped in the usual mystery and intrigue. It doesnt need aliens, or some scifi twist but it does need to be well written with a great dynamic and it had none of that. The story was at best a BAD episode of the show and the new dynamic between Mulder and Scully which was the focus of the film was muddy and confusing. Throw in a weak story about some serial killers and you have a really bad X-Files episode on the big screen. Frank thinks that this is the kind of movie that fans wanted to see its just the opening of Dark Knight and Mamma Mia that hurt the film;

I think X-FILES fans got used to seeing a whole range of stories in the television series. Many, many of them prefer this kind of storytelling to the alien stuff. I think we attempted to do something very different and, in many ways, completely unlike anything we'd done before. It's not what some wanted, but most fans have responded very positively.

I frankly think Frank is wrong and has forgotten what we as fans loved about the X-files. We loved its rich writing the fact you never could predict where the story was going to go and that you had two key characters who had a fantastic dynamic and a level of attraction and angst that made the shows and the first film that much better. Did any fans really and truly love that X-Files 2 had a weak cast, and a terrible story that was a romantic-drama instead of a dramatic-thriller? I count myself as one of the biggest fans of X-Files and even I could not find anything to love about this movie.

Opening against Dark Knight was definitely a bad idea but the poor marketing behind the film didnt help either. Did you see X-files 2? Did you like it? I saw it and left feeling violated and hoping somebody will take over and do a third film that does justice to what fans want. I have yet to read a single good review for the film on any outlet that I respect.

Pogledah prije par dana. Iako sam ga išao nevoljko gledati ispao je čisto solidan film. Veliki plus ide scenariju koji se je udaljio od tema o izvanzemaljcima i svega kaj ide uz to te se više približio publici koja nije upoznata sa serijom. Standardna glumačka ekipa je standardno dobra, neki od ostalih su također impresivni (Billy Conolly) neki baš i ne (Xzibit) ali sve skupa dobro funkcionira. Mislim da je učinjena velika greška što se je ovaj film počeo prikazivati u vrijeme histerije Dark Knighta; zasigurno bi ostvario veći uspjeh da se je još malo pričekalo

X-Files 3 to DVD?

OK, so THE X-FILES: I WANT TO BELIEVE was a bust. Just an all around bummer. But would you be interested in a third X-FILES movie? Heck, I wasn't even that interested in a second X-FILES movie but I'd at least like them to try and fix what they wronged with this summer's installment. Dread Central is reporting that a third X-FILES movie is in the works but instead of getting lost in the wake of THE DARK KNIGHT it would go direct-to-DVD. Now when I was on the X-FILES 2 set, all parties involved seemed very interested in making more X-FILES movies. That said, I think all parties involved really thought they were making a good movie that would be very successful. Now I can't imagine Fox giving Chris Carter and crew the same budget to make a direct-to-DVD movie. It was an interesting experiment but it didn't work out and let's let David Duchovny go back to "Californication" and Gillian Anderson can do "Masterpiece Theater" and we'll go watch "The Host" on the Season 2 DVD.
