Od kako je snimio "The Chronicles of Riddick" i nekoliko uzastopnih akcijskih blockbustera prije toga, Vin Diesel kao da je u zemlju propao. Rijetko gdje se moglo čuti za njega, a ni filmove kao da je prestao snimati. Doduše snimio je nakon Riddicka komediju "The Pacifier" te komićnu dramu "Find Me Guilty" za koju je i dobio dosta dobre pohvale od kritičara, no osim toga i kratkog dvominutnog pojavljivanja u "The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift" to je bilo to. Ali ipak nije Diesel besposleno sjedio svo to vrijeme...ne, ne...radio je naime na svom novom big budget filmu, akcijskom SF trileru "Babylon A.D." kojim se ponovno vraća žanru koji ga i proslavio. No, kako je većina njegovih akcijskih filmova izuzev "Pitch Blacka" tek priosjećna, nemoguće je ne sumnjati u kvalitetu ovog filma, tim više što priča podsjeća na već viđeni "Children of Men" koji je doduše odličan. No, nadu u bolje sutra ipak ulijeva činjenica da u redateljskoj stolici sjedi talentirani Mathieu Kassovitz, francuski redatelj i glumac najpoznatiji po filmovima kao što su izvrsni "La Haine", "The Crimson Rivers" ali i meni osobno loš "Gothika". Niš...evo vam po običaju par slika, plakata, trailer i sve ostale zanimljivosti vezane uz filma pa odlučite sami šta očekivati od ovoga...

Radnja:
A young woman (Mélanie Thierry) has been genetically tampered with, possessing a virus that could kill the human race. A mercenary (Vin Diesel) is hired to escort the woman from a post-apocalyptic Russia to New York City.

They are accompanied by a nun (Michelle Yeoh). Veteran-turned-mercenary Thoorop takes the high-risk job of escorting a woman from Russia to China. Little does he know that she is host to an organism that a cult wants to harvest in order to produce a genetically modified Messiah.

Meni je odličan, malo san iznenađen na ovakve negativne dojmove, mislija san da je film dobro primljen u gledatelja.

Evo i official US trailer....

TRAILER

Čini se ako tipična hard core Vin Diesel akcija...možda bude bolji od govana kao što su xXx i Riddick...inače zar baš uvijek moraju u trailer staviti ovu mjuzu iz "Rekvijema za snove" 8) :lol:

Mrvicu bolji nego američki plakat...iz nekog razloga me podsjeća na Blade Runnera. Jebate rusi u zadnje vrijeme stalno šibaju jebene plakate ili trailere...primjerice Wanted i The Mutant Chronicles...u oba slučaja su njihove stvari bile bolje..

Pogledah film i sasvim je u redu, u nekim djelovima nisam baš skužio što, kako i koga ali ima akcije dosta pa nije dosadno!
