Nije kao Get Out nikakav meta već vrlo direktan horor i samim time velik potencijal za budući horor klasik.

The Verge called it “pants-wettingly scary,” writing that “Aster’s story about a haunted family and a mysterious legacy is packed with jump-scares, but it also builds up the kind of slow-burn, nearly unbearable tension that can leave an entire theater holding their collective breath.” They added, “It’s a merciless film, crafted for maximum effect. See it with an emotional support group, or at least with a theater full of people who are all likely to end up on the same wavelength.”
Thrillist wrote, “The screams in the theater were almost as frightening as what was on screen.”
USA Today called Hereditary “the most insane horror movie in years… If you’d ever like to sleep again, then you should probably steer clear of A24’s latest horror offering.”
“I left the theater feeling a little rattled, a little spent, and entirely relieved that I’d made it through,” Richard Lawson wrote in his glowing Vanity Fair review.
We could go on and on, but the point is clear: Hereditary is the most universally praised horror film out of Sundance this year, very likely – if the reviews are any indication – to make countless “Best Of 2018” lists at the end of this year. Last year was an incredible year for horror, and it looks like 2018 is set to give it a run for its money.
NEW YORK POST
This remarkable directorial debut from Ari Aster builds on classical horror tropes - the occult, possession, mental illness- to craft its own unique spin on terror.
AV CLUB
It's pure emotional terrorism, gripping you with real horror, the unspeakable kind, and then imbuing the supernatural stuff with those feelings. It didn't play me like a fiddle. It slammed on my insides like a grand piano.
THE PLAYLIST
Sometimes a horror film comes along that you just feel will change the game. Ari Aster's "Hereditary" is just that movie, a spooky, hypnotic film that feels like the culmination of the last 50 years of horror.
