O filmu:
True Romance is a 1993 American romance crime film written by Quentin Tarantino and directed by Tony Scott. The title and plot are a play on the titles of romance comic books with their overwrought love stories—very popular in earlier decades—such as "True Life Secrets," "True Stories of Romance", "Romance Tales," "Untamed Love" and "Strange Love." True Romance was a breakthrough of sorts for Tarantino. It was his first screenplay for a major motion picture. He had hoped to direct the film himself, but ended up selling the script. The film's score by Hans Zimmer is a theme based on Gassenhauer from Carl Orff's Schulwerk. This theme combined with a voiceover spoken by Arquette is Tarantino's homage to Terrence Malick's 1973 crime movie Badlands, in which Sissy Spacek speaks the voiceover, and that also shares similar dramatic motifs.

Iako je film dosta dobar, blago sam razocaran, ocekivao sam puno vise od tarantina, pogotovo nakon svih pozitivnih kritika... neznam najlosije tarantinovo djelo koje sam pogledao??

Nije Tarantino redatelj nego Tony Scott.

Inače meni je film jeben koliko i Pakleni Šund ali ima barem jednu bolju scenu nego ikoju u Paklenom Šundu:

Što više gledam ovaj film sve više postaje mi najdraži film svih vremena.
Za mene osobno najbolji Tarantinov scenarij i dijalog.
Ovo je film koji me istinski naveo da kažem da je Tarantino jebeni genijalac kakav se rijetko rađa
(obožavam ja i ostale daleko poznatije njegove uradke kao što Reservoir Dogs, Pulp Fiction...), no ovo je nešto uvjerljivo najbolje ja bi rekao što je on ikad napisao
+ režija Tonya Scotta je tako nevjerojatno moćno urađena te se savršeno poklapa sa Tarantinovom vizijom.
Obojica po meni blistaju s ovim filmom u najboljim svojim izdanjima (ništa prije ili kasnije se ne može mjeriti s ovom filmskom poslasticom).
Već spomenuta kultna scena između Hoppera i Walkena vezana za Sicilijance je jedna od najboljih ikad snimljenih, a tu su skoro jednako briljantne one između Slatera/Oldmana te Gandolfinija/Arquette.
Posve nezasluženo podcijenjen film (jedan od naj filmova svih vremena), a da o glumačkoj postavi ni ne pričam, najbolja postava ikad!

Uistinu poseban film, a kolko sam ga tek odgađao pa kad sam napokon pogledao nedavno, ostao oduševljen :prayer:

Pa, kad se Samuel tek probio ulogom u "Jungle Fever" probio u filmskom svijetu i to mu je najbolja uloge

nema se kaj reć, jako jako dobar film, baš ono, čistokrvna i čru od jaja, romansa, doslovce.... :supz:

Filmčina i pol, odlični glumci i odlični dijalozi (Walken-Hopper) i odlično eksplozivno finale meni jedan od najdražih filmova
J...š film u kojem nema tuče

doduše,nisam ga doživio baš sad kao remek djelo,ali filmčinaaaa,bez zamjerke!
