True Grit (2010)

"True Grit" je najnoviji redateljski i scenaristički uraka braće Coen. Riječ je o remaku istoimenog filma iz 1969. godine sa John Wayneom, Robertom Duvallom i pokojnim Dennisom Hopperom u glavnim ulogama. Za potrebe ovog remake Coenovi su ponovno okupili jaku i interesantu glumačku ekipu koju predvodi Jeff Bridges, koji "mijenja" legendarnog Waynea, a s kojim su braća već surađivai na sad već kultnom filmu "The Big Lebowski" iz 1998. u kojem je Bridges ostvario svoju vjerojatno najpoznatiju ulogu. A tu su još i Josh Brolin, s kojim su također braća već surađivali na filmu "No Country for Old Men", te Matt Damon i Barry Pepper. Inače, ovo nije prvi remake braće Coen. 2004. režirali su remake filma "The Ladykillers" sa Tom Hanksom u glavnoj ulozi, no na njihovu žalost, film i nije bio baš najbolje prihvaćen. Nadajmo se da će ovaj put imati više uspijeha. Prvi teaser obećava mnogo, te ako sve prođe prema očekivanjima, mogli bi smo dobiti jedan izvrstan dodatak modernom westernu. Američka premijera filma je predviđena za 25. prosinac, dok ostatak svijeta film može očekivati u sječnju 2011.

Fourteen-year-old Mattie Ross's (Hailee Steinfeld) father has been shot in cold blood by the coward Tom Chaney (Josh Brolin), and she is determined to bring him to justice. Enlisting the help of a trigger-happy, drunken U.S. Marshal, Rooster Cogburn (Jeff Bridges), she sets out with him -- over his objections -- to hunt down Chaney. Her father's blood demands that she pursue the criminal into Indian territory and find him before a Texas Ranger named LeBoeuf (Matt Damon) catches him and brings him back to Texas for the murder of another man.

True Grit je dobio old school poster i impresivni trailer. Za mene je ovo postao jedan od najočekivanijih filmova do kraja ove godine...

ooo da da potpisujem i ja, trailer mi je odličan (soundtrack Cash), Bridges-u baš stoje takve uloge, Jonah Hex tj. Josh Brolin će valjd ovdje odglumit bolje nego u Hex-u...sve u svemu Coen braća, ne može da ne valja. Jedva čekam!

Uistinu jedva čekam ovaj film, ovo mi jedan od najiščekivanijih filmova zasada! :supz: 8)
