The Hollywood Reporter's Risky Biz Blog has revealed that Universal and Imagine are negotiating with Neil Burger to write and direct a remake of the 1935 monster movie Bride of Frankenstein.
Burger will write the script with writing partner Dirk Wittenborn.
James Whale's original Bride of Frankenstein starred Boris Karloff as the monster and Elsa Lanchester as the infamous bride, and continued the story that began with 1931's Frankenstein.
No production date has been set.

Za sada jedina je informacija da Universal pregovara s redateljem "Iluzionista" da napiše sceanriji i režira preradbu klasika iz 1935. Film bi navodno trebao biti doslovno preslika orginala. Ne znam za ostale ali ako bi se išta trebalo prerađivati svakako bi bilo zanimljivo vidjeti preradbu nečega što je starije preko pola stoljeća.
