Otkad sam postao fan One Piece live action serije, ne prestajem razmišljati o seriji. Nakon više od dvije godine, serija se vraća na velika vrata.

Kao fan One Piece live action serije mojem oduševljenju nije bilo kraja kad sam vidio novi trailer za novu sezonu.

Kao najveći fan One Pice live action serije, započeo sam drugu sezonu.

The Beginning and the End - OMG kakvog li početka naše društvo se odluči zaustaviti u Loughetown kako bi kupili neke stvari. Zoro mačeve, Sanji hranu, Luffy da vidi gdje je ubijen Roger, Nami neke karte, a Usopp nije imao izbora nego ih pratiti samo da bi tamo naišli na probleme. Buggy se vratio kao i Alvida koja je pojela novi devil fruit, ali imaju i većih problema od njih. Radnja je bila prvo pomalo spora, ali kako se polako odmotavalo, bilo je perverzno dobro. Onaj Smoker kakva faca nekakav kombo Branda, Deana, Bogarta i Rourkea i ima prebrutalnu moć. Stvarno je nezaustavljiv, ali onda se pojavio onaj lik koji je spasio Luffija moram sam čitati tko je on, to je otac od Luffy, Monkey D. Dragon se zove i taj Dragon je jedan od najmoćnijih likova u One Pieceu. Introdukcija ostalih likova kao Robin koja znam da će se kasnije pridružiti našim piratima, ali prvo će ratovati protiv njih. Kakav seks od žene. 8.5/10

Loved the participation of Bartolomeo in Louguetown, also Sabo there Dragon was spot on, loved his voice. First ep is 10/10 for me. And Robin Y'ALL, perfect. Totally perfect.

I think introducing Barto early on was a good idea.

Yeah I really liked that. It adds more to why he would be so obsessed with the Straw Hats. I only wish we had seen him take down the poster for his collection

I really love Jacob as Usopp, he has such amazing charisma

Okay, they did the scene where Zoro picks his sword SO PERFECTLY. Respect.

THEY KEPT SMOKER’S ICE CREAM SCENE!!!!

I was sitting here waiting for it, because it's such an important part of his characterization. Like, there's a lot of things you can lose without hurting the overall essence of the story, but without that moment, Smoker comes across as just another brutish Marine. 15 seconds to tell you everything you need to know about Smokey.

It's stuff like this that makes it clear they love and care for the source material.

Holy fuck Robin is incredible.

Oh my god! So good! Is it possible this is even better than season 1???

The show really took its time and we got lots of character focus on our strawhats!!! I loved each of their scenes on Loguetown! Amazing!

Excellent introductions for Robin, Smoker, and Tashigi!

All of the added content fits perfectly and felt very fleshed out! Bartolomeo! Gol D Roger and Garp!

The humor was on point. The inflation line and Luffy shouting over that singing guy really did it for me.

I am so happy we got more scenes with Jeff Ward as Buggy.

Can't wait to watch the rest! What a treat!

Good Whale Hunting - ma daj, ovo bi mogao gledati do kraja života. Kako oni znaju napraviti nostalgiju za djetinjstvom i svim tim avanturama koje smo imali moji prijatelji tad i moja malenkost. Ajme, još je sad ljepše vrijeme, sve cvate tužan sam, a opet sretan. U ovoj epizodi našu grupu pojede kit po imenu Laboon, ali Luffy se spasi i susreće čuvara svjetionika za kojeg se kasnije sazna da zna Rogera. Sad Luffy planira kako spasiti svoje društvo. Usput smo saznali i o toj baroknoj lozi koju vodi neki opaki Mister 0, mister zero. Smoker kreće za našom grupom, ali i ona njegova desna ruka Tashigi koja će imati neku vleiku ulogu. Odlična epizoda opet o prijateljstvu i takvim trenucima. Jedva čekam dalje. 8.8/10

Luffy singing Bink’s Sake instead of having a traditional fight with Laboon is such a inspired adaptational choice. I’m loving how this adaptation captures Luffy’s empathy and emotional intelligence.

I think Luffy’s interventions (if they could be called that) have generally been a bit more gentle in OPLA. Like he didn’t sucker punch Koby in S1 and here we don’t have him reach the heart of a very depressed whale by trying to beat the shit out of it. It sort of makes sense to me.

I’m kind of curious if we’ll see the Alabasta Slap. It feels like it’s sort of important to a certain someone’s arc but it also feels like it might not be the sort of high EQ they’ve been shooting for with OPLA Luffy.

I think it's because it's meant to cater to western audiences who may not be familiar with shonen tropes and rudeness of some anime characters, so it's easier for casual audiences to connect to the main characters by showing empathy rather than throwing punches.

The way they handled Laboon was smart. As much as I was surprised they didn’t do it, having a whole island inside Laboon wouldn’t have worked. And to a lesser extent, Luffy boxing with Laboon would have been difficult too.

Keeping the emotional aspect and then amping it up by showing us the Rumbar Pirates was probably the best option.

I think this is the episode I can watch over and over and feel happy and sad about.

Brook and the Rumbar Pirates are perfect. The guy playing Cailco is shredded.

The banter with Luffy and Crocus is hilarious. "His name is Laboon!" "You named the whale?" "No, the name came with him"

The show so far has revealed things very slowly and naturally. So each reveal feels like something big, because it was already set up and that's what this Live-action adaption has done so well. It's set up some key events, and connects them later with the next characters and adventures.

The little dance that Tashigi does is adorable.

Laboon's story hit the feels

HOLY SHIT THIS IS SO FUCKING PEAK OMG OMG, I had to watch the laboon scene 5 times in a row and kept on crying. I switched to the Japanese dub, and the laboon scenes hits different. I love the deviation of Luffy singing the song instead of beating the shit out of Laboon in the original. LOVEEE ITTT SO FARRRRRRRR!

Once again reminded that Tashigi has the most impossible dream of all time, Arguably harder than becoming the pirate king

Is it crazy to say I prefer the changes they made to the laboon introduction to the original? Love that Luffy sang to Laboon instead of fighting.

Smoker and Tashigi might be the best casting so far. They’re so believable.

Man it really feels like everything is a step up from season 1.

The strawhats build on their already amazing chemistry, and the new additions are spot on (outside of maybe dragon so far).

The writing is sharper and more dialed in on each character. The fight scenes are way better. The direction and cinematography make solid improvements as well.

I could go on, but it’s already absolutely exceeded my expectations so far, just incredible.

Po komentarima vidim da je u animeu drugačije bilo oko Luffyija i Laboona. Zanimljivo, ali im nije zamjerka dapače...
