Kevin Smith wrote:I saw Watchmen. It's fucking astounding. The Non-Disclosure Agreement I signed prevents me from saying much, but I can spout the following with complete joygasmic enthusiasm: Snyder and Co. have pulled it off. Remember that feeling of watching Sin City on the big screen and being blown away by what a faithful translation of the source material it was, in terms of both content and visuals? Triple that, and you'll come close to watching Watchmen. Even Alan Moore might be surprised at how close the movie is to the book. March can't come soon enough.

Warner Home Video has announced DVD ($29.98) and Blu-ray ($35.99) releases of Watchmen: Motion Comics which brings the graphic novel to life in 12 episodes. Each will be available to own from the 3rd March. As far as we know, the only extra material on the DVD release will be a special sneak peak of DC Universe's animated Wonder Woman DVD. The Blu-ray release will include that, along with a "Prison Break" scene from the upcoming Watchmen theatrical film. Each will also include $7.50 movie cash to see Watchmen in theaters. We've attached the official package artwork for each of the releases below:
