The show was created by every talented Norwegian currently making movies, including Tommy Wirkola (director of Dead Snow, Kill Buljo: The Movie, Hansel & Gretel: Witch Hunters ), Patrik Syversen (Prowl, Rovdyr aka Manhunt ), Roar Uthaug (director of Cold Prey,Magic Silver, Flukt aka Escape) and Sebastian Dalen ( Tomme tønner, Tomme tønner 2 - Det brune gullet) comes this delightfully weird and wonderful television series.

As the series opens, Oslo Mounted Police Sergeant Nesbit Salmander (co-writer Zahid Ali) is faced with a daunting and heart-breaking situation. His trusty horse, Gunnar, stumbles in the Oslo city streets during the annual Independence Day parade, and breaks his leg. Fighting back the tears, Salmander realises there is only one solution and attempts to put Gunnar out of his misery. This proves more difficult than anticipated and before long Salmander's efforts to swiftly put down his horse have escalated into a grisly bloodbath in front of a now traumatised crowd of horrified onlookers.
Salmander is promptly dismissed from the police force, but due to a loophole in his civil service contract, is entitled to serve out a 3-month notice period. With no interest in seeing Salmander work another day on the streets of Oslo, his captain banishes him to Hellfjord - a tiny fishing community in the far north of Norway.
On arrival, things just go from bad to worse for Salmander. It should be pointed out that although Norwegian by birth, Nesbit is Pakistani, an unfamiliar sight to the locals of this freakishly backwards community. But, Hellfjord's simmering racism proves the least of the town's problems.The average age of its residents is 67, 100% of the population smokes (which isn't great for Salmander, who is actively trying to quit), and the local economy seems almost entirely dependent upon Hellfjord's only notable employer, the large fish processing company, Hellfish.
Salmander's new deputy, Kobba (played by Dead Snow co-writer Stig Frode Henrikson) is a freakishly unkempt hillbilly type, who seems almost entirely disinterested in making Salmander's stay any less difficult. Kobba even tries to have Salmander sleep in one of the cells at the police station for the duration of his stay, but eventually he finds alternate lodgings with a lecherous old pensioner who refuses to leave the bathroom when Salmander is showering, or wear a bra under her see-through blouse. But despite all this, Salmander is determined to give it a go in Hellfjord.
Unsurprisingly it doesn't take long before the bizarre events in Hellfjord begin to pique the new sheriff's interest. The suspicious death of a worker at the fishery, the general disdain around town for its Swedish owner, Bosse Nova (Thomas Hanzon) and the bubbly enthusiasm of perky young reporter, Johanne (Cold Prey's Ingrid Bolso Berdal) all play their part in persuading Salmander to embrace his fate and peel back Hellfjord's faded, fishy facade.

Nisam još gledao. Upravo skidam sve epizode. Još ne znam ni da li oni titlovi pašu za release koji skidam, a to je DVDRIP XVID-LIVIDITY. Nadam se da neću još morati sređivati tajminge

Čitao sam dosta recenzija i sve su pozitivne. Svi očekuju 2 sezonu s nestrpljenjem.

Kažu da ima dosta smijeha, ali brutalnih i krvavih scena. Neki spoj misterije, komedije i akcije s elementima horora.

Ne znam ako ste čitali radnju, ali smiješno mi je što su svi stanovnici puše, a glavni lik je na odvikavanju od pušenja

Početak serije je brutalan. Smijeha i krvi koliko hoćeš

A jebemu, ja skinija od AndyNor-a, valjda će pasat.

Recimo to ovako. Serija počinje tako što upoznajemo glavnog lika, inače pandura koji prepričava svom nadređenom kako je sa policijskim konjem bio u centru grada, dok se održavao Dan državnosti. Konj je slomio nogu i on onako po starinski izvadi pištoj u centru grada i ispali par metaka u njega, ali konj nekako to preživi pa u prolazu uzme od glazbenika trubu i počne udarati konja hehe, ali konj je i to preživio hehe Kako bi stvar bila gotova, uzima auto i gazi ga njime heheh.

bizarna serija, ali baš mi ne leži takva vrsta humora.
