In the year 2059, drinkable water has become the most precious commodity on Earth and a war breaks out to fight for new sources. Japan chooses to protect its water purification plant by closing its borders and erecting a deadly maze to protect it from invaders. Soon Kotaro Misaki (Ikki Funaki), a former member of the Diet who was banished as a rebel, attempts to make his way through this maze in order to once again make the water available to the increasingly-desperate public.
