Primal Fear is a 1996 American film directed by Gregory Hoblit which tells the story of a defense attorney, Martin Vail (Richard Gere), who defends an altar boy, Aaron Stampler (Edward Norton), charged with the murder of a Catholic archbishop. The movie is an adaptation of William Diehl's 1993 novel. Norton was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Supporting Actor and won a Golden Globe Award in the same category for his career-launching role.

Plot:
An arrogant, high-powered attorney takes on the case of a poor altar boy found running away from the scene of the grisly murder of the bishop who has taken him in. The case gets a lot more complex when the accused reveals that there may or may not have been a "third person" in the room during the murder. The intensity builds when a surprise twist alters everyone's perception of the crime and what really happened...

Lik je kralj i stvarno je odlično prikazao glavnog osumnjičenika u filmu. 
Dobra mi je bila i uvijek sjajna Frances McDormand te u maloj ulozi Terry O'Quinn. Neobičan, misteriozan i full napet film sa pametno napisanim likovima, dijalogom te sa jednim od najboljih preokreta 90-ih koji me baš ostavio paf.
