SADRŽAJ:
"- Vampir Dallas se nakon podužeg izganstva vraća u Los Angeles, gdje i dalje nije dobrodošao. Naime grof Drakula ga je protjerao iz grada prije 20 godina kad se ovaj oglušio na zapovijed da ubije slavnog lovca na vampire dr. Helsinga. Sad uz Dallasov povratak grof muku muči i sa serijskim ubojicom koji ubija na vampirski način.
Da stvar bude još i gora u grad dolazi i Van Helsing, koji vrlo brzo okuplja pomoćnike iz redova bande Cripsa sa kojima nastavlja svoj osvetnički pohod protiv vampira. Dallas vrlo brzo otkriva da je serijski ubojica u stvari mlada djevojka Nico, koju je on sam pretvorio u vampira. Sad sa njom i svojim prijateljima ide u noćne izlaske u barove za vampire, no u jednome od njih se nalazi i Grof, koji saznaje da je Nico serijski ubojica za kojim traga. Dallasu i ostalim krvopijcima koji su u njegovu društvu život u LA-u postaje sve nepodnošljiviji, jer ne samo da ih Grof želi smaknuti nego im je za petama i Van Helsing sa svojim pomoćnicima.''

- i am a vampire movie fan and have seen a lot of em ( my collection now comprises about 170 of these movies ) and modern vampires is definitely in the top 20 . it is a really witty film with a great cast and first class directing on a limited budget . sure the special effects are not always top notch , but special effects never did a movie...
- Rod Steiger is a great actor and he makes this movie good. The funniest scenes in the movie involve Steiger and the man he hires to help hunt vampires. Steiger puts everything into his role as Doctor Frederick Van Helsing the vampire slayer. His German accent is right on. Van Helsing takes out an ad in the paper to find an assistant. When a street thug applies for the job, the really funny stuff starts. Later when he needs more help he Van Helsing uses his thug assistant's street gang! How these two cultures play off of each other is the funniest part of the movie
- This is possibly the worst film ever made - I am not kidding!
We rented this film, fortunately as we had a free rental voucher we did not pay actual money to see it. What a suck-fest!!
- MODERN VAMPIRES is an (obviously) independent (obviously) low budget "off-beat" little thing that features Casper Van Dien. His character is a vampire who smiles a lot and always seems to be thinking "dude! I'm a vampire!" All the vampires in the picture like to show their fangs a lot and have no conception of subtlety...
