Paul W.S. Anderson has screwed up horror films so much that we are just bored with RESIDENT EVIL: EXTINCTION. Thankfully for us, Michael Bay has decided to slip into his very capable shoes.

Bay’s low budget company, Platinum Dunes, will be behind the remake of FRIDAY THE 13TH. These are the same people that made the TEXAS CHAINSAW MASSACRE and THE HITCHER remakes. The screenwriters are Damian Shannon and Mark Swift, the guys behind FREDDY VS. JASON.

If you are not frightened enough by this news, let me elaborate. You should remember that Jason Voorhees was not the killer in the original. He makes a brief appearance at the end. And while he does appear in Part 2, he doesn’t actually wear the mask until Part 3. But the genius that is Michael Bay’s brain has decided to rewrite history by making mask-wearing Jason the killer from the very beginning and removing the Mother-Son plotline completely.

Uhh…this doesn’t make any sense. But what does make sense is this incredible line up of other horror remakes Bay has planned. Here are his pitches:
NIGHTMARE ON ELM STREET is a remake of the original only Freddy doesn’t have a burned face from angry parents setting him on fire. Title role to be played by Lance Bass. Freddy’s glove will be replaced with a microphone. Set to be a Broadway musical if a success.

GREMLINS is a remake of the original only instead of Gremlins, it will feature a Unicorn that multiplies when hit with water. It will be animated and given a G rating.
THE HOWLING is a remake of the original only it will not have werewolves. Screenplay written by Paul Haggis and features no less than 10 actors vying for an Oscar in their portrayal of angry racists.
HELLRAISER is a remake of the original only with hardcore porn added in. Paul Verhoeven plans to direct and Elizabeth Berkeley is set to star. Co-stars Gina Gershon sporting awful Lee Press-on Nails and a Black woman who gets raped for no reason.

[Editor’s Note: Lube up your buttholes and get a second job, because Michael Bay wants us, to pay him to rape us, and I am sure we will all oblige!]

Michael Bay je idiot, to je već nekoliko puta dokazao sa svojim filmovima.

sa kojima točno??

meni osobno je svaki njegov film vrlo dobar..ustvari nema ni jedan loš film...kaj se i po ocjenama vidi(na Imdb)..

možda misliš na filmove kojima je bio producent kao npr. ovi remake-ovi:
The Hitcher (2007) (producer)
The Amityville Horror (2005) (producer)
The Texas Chainsaw Massacre (2003) (producer)

ali opet ni to nije bilo nimalo loše..pogotovo da bi ga nazvao idiotom..

Meni ocjena na IMDb znači točno ništa, u današnje vrijeme nije teško nabaviti masu koja će ti napucati ocjenu.

Zašto mislim da je Bay idiot? Možda je bila kriva riječ, prije bi trebao reći "neinventivni papk koji robuje zaradi" i to jer radi ove pizdarije sa remakeovima što znači da apsolutno nema nikakvih ideja. Njegova redateljska (zlo)djela su mi:

- Transformers (2007)
- Bad Boys II (2003)
- Pearl Harbor (2001)

Producentska sranja si već sam naveo

Hehe...iskreno me ću di na nisi naveo Armageddon

Kaj se tiče njegovih producentskih "izleta", "The Amityville Horror" i "The Texas Chainsaw Massacre" su dosta dobri pokušaji, posebice ovaj drugi, dok je "The Hitcher" zbilja govno od filma...ali ne toliko zbog Baya već zbog lošeg scenarija i loše režije koja je rezultat tog lošeg scenarija...u ostalom evo moje opširno mišljenje o tom filmu - LINK

Pa sada Michael Bay nisam nikad upoznao niti slušao ijedan intervju pa ne znam dali je idiot. A kao redatelj je napravio dobar akcić The Rock i Armagedon je dobar , a ovo ostalo bezveze(možda Transformersi su dobri,nisam još gledao).
Kladim se da će za redatelja uzeti nekog sa sličnim stlilom kao on da režira ovaj remejk. E da dali je još Jonathan Liebesman stavljen da režira.

Gledajući Baya kao redatelja, "Bad Boys", "The Rock" i "Armageddon" su mi fenomenalni. "Pearl Harbor" ima dobrih elemenata ali mi je u cjelini prerazvučen i previše patetičan..ima osjećaj da su htjeli napraviti mix Titanica i Armageddona. "Bad Boys II" su mi dobri...ono, ok akcić, ali prenabrijano, iako ima par dobrih akcijskih sekvenci...
"The Island" se s početka činio kao najozbiljniji Bayev projekt dok nije došla sekvenca kada dvoje gl. junaka počne bježati...e onda je sve otišlo ki vragu. Iako taj film ima jako dobru i intrigantnu priču sa malo ozbiljnijom i mračnijom pozadinom od koje bi recimo David Fincher napravio odličan mračan SF koji preispituje neka pitanja moralnosti.
"Transformersi" su mi zabavni, ali daleko od odličnog filma...s vizualne strane mi bolje izgleda ona reklama za Citroena koja je poslužila kao referenca za film nego sam film...prenabrijano, a akcijske sekvence su nepregledne, kao i transformacije...iako kao što rekoh iznimno zabavno i to ga izvlači

Nisam pogledao sva ostvarenja Micheala Baya ali mogu reći da je "Pearl Harbor" najveće sranje s ratnom tematikom koje sam ikada vidio; samo ne znam kolika je tu Bayeva krivnja s obzirom na smeće od scenarija po kojem je film sniman

Itekako je njegova krivnja, mogao je slobodno ne prihvatiti redateljsku stolicu, očito je mislio da je scenarij dobar.

a gle, amerikanci su takvi da im se sam pokaže neki ratni film u kojem su oni pozitivci i već imaš dobru zaradu. film je teško smeće

Exciting news for those of you who are fans of Platinum Dunes and New Line Cinema's Texas Chainsaw Massacre remake, B-D was the first to report that director Marcus Nispel will also be reviving Jason Voorhees in the Friday the 13th remake from a script by Damian Shannon and Mark Swift! The remake will focus on Jason Voorhees -- who will wear the infamous mask and kill -- and keep the famous setting of Crystal Lake. This news is pretty huge as the film will in fact be filming during the strike. Watch for the masked one to return in 2008!
